Dorset based 2 piece The Dukes Of Hades is the brainchild of Gareth Brunsdon ( Eternal -pre Electric Wizard, Spirmyard, Sludgefeast) and Steve Lynch ( The Electric Shakes, Teaspoonriverneck, Burg & the Vagabond Choir)
The band have supported the likes of Hippie Death Cult, Dead Witches, Dunes, The Grey.
Taking influences from early Swedish Metal bands and adding their own brand of Deth N Roll and combining it with a brutal assault of Sludgey Doom, some pure unadulterated Fuzz riffage and some heavy ass pummelling drums, Using mythological leanings to the underworld and it's reference to today's climate, whilst screaming about the atrocities and injustice we have to endure.
Influences are noticable and various bands of the typical Stoner Rock, Death, Grind, Doom and Sludge genre's could be mentioned, but it's better to make up your own mind.
It's a blend of all things they respect heavily.
They are a D.I.Y band and print their own T-shirts and merch.
The release has been included in the top 40 Doom Charts and reviewed by various online blog including Hour Of The Riff, Outlaws of the Sun, Stoner Hive and Stoner & Co
