The Edge band is one of the most renowned rock bands in Nepal. The Edge Band was founded in the year 1998 in Pokhara and officially entered in the Nepali music industry in the year 2000.
The band was started along with the founder and vocalist Jeewan Gurung, and the band’s Binaya Gurung, Roshan Gurung, Sunil Gubaju, Bikash Singh, and Asok Sundas.
The Edge band has given countless great songs such as Mero Ashu, Thaha Chaina, Nachaheko Hoina Timilai, Samjhine Mutu, Yo Dil Mero, Kasailai Pani Ma, Timro Yaad, Dukha Diyera, Nachodnu yo saath, and many more. This band has helped to take the Nepali music industry to another level.
The melodious voice and amazing music have successes to collect cheers from national and international millions of fans and well-wishers.
After that, all members have left the band but front-man Jeewan Gurung continued his singing career. He takes time to improve himself and create his new band members Rockey Tulachan, Som Gurung, Sanjeev Shrestha, and Basanta Sharma. The incessant passion proved to be a rewarding experience.
Then The Edge Band became a strong team and releases its second album Vibes in 2006. Songs are Thaha Chaina, Kasailai Pani Ma, Jiunalai Garo Bho, Prastab, Lekhiyeka Sabbdha, Santi ko Sandesh, and Dukha Diyera.
Due to the nice songs and their popularity band also got a chance to rock among Nepalese of UK, USA, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Dubai, and so many other countries.
