The moody atmosphere created by singer-songwriter Joey Mutis III is often compared to Nick Drake...with influences from the storytelling of Ray Davies (The Kinks) to the raw emotion of Neil Young fused with folk rock, pop, jazz, and psychedelic colorings.

The new album UNGLUED is rooted in space rock, offering a dreamy musical journey as expansive as the universe and as intimate as the search for self. The opening track "Days of My Youth" invites the listener to enter what "feels like another world, in another time."

Several earlier songs are featured in television and film, most notably "Shabby Girl" (ONE TREE HILL, DRIVE ME CRAZY) and "Unspoken Love" (NUMB3RS). With live performances at east coast venues including World Cafe, Godfrey Daniels, Musikfest, Kenny's Castaways, and the storied CBGB.

The song "Man of the Town"—a favorite of Philly folk icon Gene Shay—appeared on the PHILADELPHIA PHAST PHOLKS CD compilation from Fast Folk Magazine, a NY-based talent antenna that was the first to record such music notables as Suzanne Vega and John Gorka.

Earlier albums ranked #1 on the CMJ charts (WNTI Hackettstown, NJ), most played local artist (WDIY Lehigh Valley, PA), and chosen among "Top Philly Band Picks" by WXPN Program Director Bruce Warren.

Rock 'N Roll Hall of Famer Peter Buck of REM played mandolin on early demos at John Keane's studio in Athens, Georgia. Keane, known for his work with Billy Bragg, Vic Chestnut and others, played pedal steel on a few tracks.
