Alex Dobson is “The Family Van”, a singer-songwriter project Alex started in his attic. After playing in multiple bands ranging from folk to punk to indie rock, Alex decided to use his down time to explore producing music on his own.
The name “The Family Van” is inspired by the first place Alex was really exposed to music, listening to the radio stations his parents and sisters preferred. The Family Van is meant to be an exploration of different sounds and styles that make up the core of the background music of Alex’s life.
