Dancing has to be the most natural way to rid the human body of stress and share collective joy...
We decided to combine dance with folk in a new way..crossing national, genre and generational boundaries to create world grooves and melodies that make people of all ages just want to dance. Music, like love can only be given as a gift. The band reflect many of the musical gifts that were given to us all from many traditions and influences - Ska, Dance, Celtic, Balkan, Gypsy, Shanty, Roots and Folk.
A festival or fire circle is our natural environment. We have played to wild crowds of dancing priests and nuns and been regularly voted top festival band... Recording music has always been second best to playing and dancing with a real bunch of humans, but here we are trying to bottle the essence of our sound as live music gatherings disappear.. May you be able to dance and shake loose wherever you are and whenever you can.
