The Fite

The Fite is a solo project by Jason Fite, a musician and storyteller whose journey began in a garage in Alexandria, TN, playing music alongside his father at the age of 14. Those humble beginnings paved the way for deeper exploration of music, particularly on the bass, alongside cousins and friends. This collaborative energy culminated in the formation of the band White Trash, featuring Nathan Estes, Charles Lawrence, Tommy Clayborn, and later Todd Davis and David Scott.

Jason’s creative roots extend beyond music into poetry, short stories, and other forms of writing, with his early works often transforming into song ideas. Over the years, this passion for storytelling and music grew into a deeply personal catalog of songs, reflecting experiences, emotions, and artistic evolution.

The Fite represents the culmination of these efforts, blending the raw honesty of those first creative sparks with the themes and elements of today. Each track is a piece of a larger narrative, spanning years of inspiration, retrospection and growth.
