The Forever is the solo project of COASTS frontman, Chris Caines. After bringing the band to an end, Chris began to write music for what would later become The Forever. However, at the beginning of 2019 Chris was hospitalised and he spent the next few months recovering from a near fatal illness, which gave him a fresh outlook on life and a renewed sense of energy.
Delving into those darkest moments and emerging with a determination to be honest and open, he is now returning to music with The Forever: full of love and angst, hopes and fears.
Bristol-born and London-based, Chris has taken influence from his surroundings, family and friends to sculpt a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly new: a combination of driving rhythms, infectious melodies and introspective lyrics.
