The Fricks

Introducing the new milk-alternative: The Fricks! Now a quintet of Bay Area talent laying down grooves, licks, slaps and refreshing original tunes. Music that makes you feel good, music that makes your ears burn, music that will leave you hitting mute or replay faster than you can say “what the frick?” Evolved from a previous band Loui, Jose and Jon came from 90s to 00s punk , heavy and alternative music influences like: Radiohead, System of a Down and The Hives they wrote original tunes and performed in the local Bay Area scene trying to capture the sound of strong trio drums, bass and guitar with space for riffs from each instruments. In 2021 the band agreed to look for a fourth member resulting in the acquisition of funk inspired bass player Eric who took over the role bumping Jose to 2nd guitar. The mutual influences included Stevie Wonder, Vulfpeck and Queens of the Stone Age which made the transition into writing original tunes flow organically. After performing intensively in the Bay Area in 3 years the direction to add another member to lighten the load between members and elevate their already electric performance to the S-Tier was made and Alex (AKA Sushi Jones) was added as the front man. Bringing passion for singing and writing music along with some new original tunes to the mix The Fricks will be a force to be reckoned with and the upcoming release will be a milestone you won't want to miss!
