Inspired by hip-hop and trip-hop, the two brothers started 'The Funky Bros' in 2003.
The first albums are very hip-hop oriented and sound like old-fashioned mix tapes.
Over time, more and more musical influences can be heard, including reggae, jazz, blues and lounge.
Now, in 2024, 'The Funky Bros' are again active in producing new material. A compilation album of previously unreleased tracks & rarities will be released in the short term. In the run-up to the album, a number of singles will also be released, the first of which will be released on September 18.
