The Girl From Tomorrow is analog soul in a digital age, blending synth textures, emotive vocals and acoustic instruments in a genre he labels 'Organicwave'. Taken from the name of one of his favourite kids TV shows, this nostalgic fusion of pop, synthwave and vaporwave takes influences ranging from Lisa Stansfield and Alexander O'Neal to Tame Impala, Adamski and Droid Bishop. Lyrical themes explore modern love, digital burnout, insomnia and crystalline childhood memories, displayed in songs such as 'Aeroplanes in the Sky' , a song for his flight attendant mother, telling the story of a boy waving to her at every plane in the sky, trailing
overhead.
