The Golden Eternity

<a href="spotify:artist:4aqECXxlXiQKDaOIJYrwTu" data-name="The Golden Eternity">The Golden Eternity</a> is a project by Jazz pianist / producer Ben Harker, inspired by various sessions playing keys on records for <a href="spotify:artist:4m39g9VyP8boZPyg5hUKLG" data-name="Darkhouse Family">Darkhouse Family</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:21hln04kMnbpNlZHQfEu76" data-name="Don Leisure">Don Leisure</a> on the First Word Records label. These included <a href="spotify:artist:4m39g9VyP8boZPyg5hUKLG" data-name="Darkhouse Family">Darkhouse Family</a>&#39;s <a href="spotify:album:7BqwvtVr2NOvD6cSlcfXhb" data-name="Solid Gold EP">Solid Gold EP</a> in 2016 and also <a href="spotify:album:6IZX7gR09aVBc6Gm2Soslp" data-name="The Offering">The Offering</a> in 2017.

Following the psychedelic vocal-led debut release of <a href="spotify:track:32SFYuVPkK4cM7RZKTgaA3" data-name="Sunlight">Sunlight</a> in 2019, <a href="spotify:artist:4aqECXxlXiQKDaOIJYrwTu" data-name="The Golden Eternity">The Golden Eternity</a>’s single ‘Memories Of Pépé’ was inspired by the amazing energy and special vibe of records such as <a href="spotify:artist:0yoXd0lpIZSFKYRbW6LS5n" data-name="Pépé Bradock">Pépé Bradock</a> - &#39;Deep Burnt&#39;, <a href="spotify:artist:5otYi67C7LuemeGm2yIA3R" data-name="Typesun">Typesun</a> - &#39;Last Home&#39; and <a href="spotify:artist:7sdFsJNQmnXEJjpgeVeQWO" data-name="Andres">Andres</a> - &#39;New For U&#39; which all feature beautiful Strings and Jazz sounds.

In a new instrumental direction influenced by Jazz and improvisation - <a href="spotify:album:09jbzo4JUhVIf3j0W6WZ9Q" data-name="Horizon">Horizon</a> and <a href="spotify:track:6tlLhNrTfEMShuT44YypyN" data-name="Routes To Knowledge">Routes To Knowledge</a> combine a fascination for Jazz piano harmony and the sonic aesthetic of 60s/70s soul records. These tracks featured on Spotify official playlists <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXdk2DZvqpqJY" data-name="Chill Out Jazz">Chill Out Jazz</a> in 2022 and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXbl3JqaogQ4y" data-name="Lounge Jazz">Lounge Jazz</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXcWL5K0oNHcG" data-name="Fresh Finds Jazz">Fresh Finds Jazz</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX2vYju3i0lNX" data-name="Chilled Jazz">Chilled Jazz</a> in 2023.

<a href="spotify:track:2SBz8IOMQZsDj0i1l66KOH" data-name="Tomorrow&#39;s Vision Today">Tomorrow&#39;s Vision Today</a> pushes into new territory musically, evolving through a sonic journey of modal piano jazz, afro-cuban jazz &amp; brokenbeat flavours. Inspired by Bill Evans, Horace Silver &amp; Clare Fischer to the 70s funk bass of Rocco Prestia.
