The Goodnight Project

Founded in 2019 with the release of <a href="spotify:track:1M5KHSkucKbbMEfxZcoola" data-name="Enter Moonlight">Enter Moonlight</a>, The Goodnight Project was born out of a creative desperation.

I had recently become a new father, working two jobs to make ends meet, with precious little time to work on any of the music I had enjoyed before (<a href="spotify:artist:2kcSyIe5ynbv2RawwOigkn" data-name="Sleepyheart">Sleepyheart</a>).

One night, after my family had gone to bed, I put my headphones on &amp; sat down at the keyboard.

Even if it wasn’t what I was used to, surely plinking around on the piano would be better than nothing and might be able scratch that annoying creative itch that wasn’t going away.

What came out was a simple melody I had written on my grandfather’s upright piano years earlier.

This became <a href="spotify:track:1M5KHSkucKbbMEfxZcoola" data-name="Enter Moonlight">Enter Moonlight</a> &amp; what happened next I could never imagine.

Enter Moonlight stumbled into unexpected streaming success after landing on the <a href="spotify:playlist:2sWwKJKAznIkvjoFRJ3ag3" data-name="Calming Music &#43; Nature Sounds">Calming Music &#43; Nature Sounds</a> playlist by Signal Alchemy.

Some time after that, the track ended up in a YouTube compilation video called <a href="spotify:playlist:1Gmi0UjnYo4buXqm0URUKn" data-name="peace. — Conspersa Prometheum ">peace. — Conspersa Prometheum </a>which received millions of views, spilling over into listeners on Spotify &amp; elsewhere.

Over the next several years I released a handful of additional tracks, including: <a href="spotify:track:0fjkvzeUfJCKkIl9OmZo4v" data-name="All Things, In Time">All Things, In Time</a> (my most streamed song to date), &amp; <a href="spotify:track:6K4QIUJ66lW4qUZnrSyWqw" data-name="After All, It Is Well">After All, It Is Well</a> (ft. <a href="spotify:artist:0gEyux9kfm4eISIsEtLu4w" data-name="Kilometre Club">Kilometre Club</a>).

2025 marks a new chapter for The Goodnight Project, bringing collaborations w/ <a href="spotify:artist:4xp0qN8C2Og0QbD3GxxfCs" data-name="Center of Attention">Center of Attention</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4LO3xGuIhjAzgRVSNOdqIL" data-name="Raphah">Raphah</a>, &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:5OUR7rNt23Phqm1l40YCYD" data-name="Memories of the Forgotten">Memories of the Forgotten</a> this Fall through Silent Sonic Records &amp; Echoes Blue Music.
