The Grouche

The Grouche is a Canadian singer/songwriter dwelling in the palm of Rock and Heavy Metal with a raw vocal prowess. Largely influenced by the music of the 80s, Time is of no obstacle for The Grouche, as he strongly believes any genre of music can be timeless

Born as Bradley Theodore DeGrouchie in Bathurst, New Brunswick, The Grouche has always had a love for show business and would strive to entertain. He was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome, though once he started dabbling in Stand Up comedy in his early teen years, and facing small success to the locals, he realized that Autism is of no obstacle. The Grouche simply lost interest in the art and hungered for a more heavy, bombastic dream of Rock n Roll. The Grouche got his start hoping to write songs for other artists, before realizing that he wanted a piece of the action. He's done an excess of karaoke, performed in a talent show, and dove into a metal band, ultimately leaving him to launch his solo career in December of 2023

The Grouche is heavily influenced by the likes of the duo that is Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman, while also influenced by classic rock and metal icons such as Judas Priest, Dio, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Dokken, Bon Jovi, and so on. He aims to deliver such compassionate and desperate yet heroic stories to his audience that these old rockers succeeded in. However, success is not in The Grouche's eye. After all, he only wants to entertain
