The Hail Bop Group

The Hail Bop Group is the brain child of band director D.A. Whiteker, who has written and performed music in southern and central Ohio for two decades with different configurations of creative and talented musicians.
The band’s sound does not settle for one genre, but oscillates from a repertoire of distorted and fast-paced punk, folk-y crooners of lyrical melancholy, dives into the realm of jazz-inspired experimentation,
and whatever else in between.
The band performs as a trio in the Midwest rust belt areas, and tours as an acoustic/violin duo everywhere else.
