The time was late 90's.
The band was still stuck in the 70's and 80's.
And with influences like Aerosmith, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix...even a little hippy woodstock flavour, these four members, who all met at their workplace, the Treasury Casino in Brisbane, Australia, was born The Hardways, an album, some original tunes, some support gigs with music legends, and some guest appearances by notable icons of the music and pop culture industry. (Phil Emmanuel, George Carlin to name but a few)
Now, in 2022, with some spare time due to global pandemics and wars and the like, from a lockdown, co-founding member, guitarist, vocalist, but mainly the publicity and marketing guy, Glenn Twiddle, (known in the day as 'Homer') figured out how to drive this spotify thing, and put some ads out there to see if the world likes 20+ year old music, influenced by 40+ year old music !!.
