Fate and chance are what brings any group of friends together. Formed in 2003, The Heartland is a genre bending project spanning the sonic spectrums of chaotic metalcore, screamo, post rock, Midwest emo and grindcore. Touring heavily between 2005 and 2009, the band went on hiatus in 2009.
