The Helland Brothers Band likes to take the listener back to the roots of swamp rock, R&B and country with their concise Americana style, economic and with primal power. This band from the West Coast of Norway is influenced by the Southern root music and imagery, Thore Eithun Helland with his gritty voice and songs, and with his little brother Frank on bluesy guitar, organ and accordion. The brothers play several instruments, and get superb help from one of the best rock drummers in Norway, Stig Løberg Værnes. If you like Creedence Clearwater Revivial, John Fogerty, Omar and the Howlers or John Hiatt, you will like this music.
