A country songwriting and vocal trio out of Atwood, Illinois, the Henningsens are comprised of Brian Henningsen (guitar, bass, vocals), his son Aaron Henningsen (guitar, vocals), and his daughter Clara Henningsen (lead vocals, guitar). The three officially began writing, singing, and performing together in 2008, and when demos of their material found their way to the ears of producer Paul Worley, the trio began making inroads into the Nashville country music scene. Signed to Arista Nashville, a debut single, "American Beautiful," was released in December of 2012, followed by a self-titled EP, The Henningsens, in the spring of 2013, and a second single, "I Miss You," also hit the airwaves in 2013. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
