(SPA) The Hightowers nace de la unión de varios músicos que coinciden en su pasión por el deep funk y el northern soul.
Tras su participación en el festival internacional Cultura Inquieta, presentan su primer EP, "Crystal Soul", grabado en los Estudios Funkameba de la mano de Santi Martín (The Sweet Vandals). Un trabajo compuesto por 5 temas que recuerdan al funk de Curtis Mayfield y la etapa de Paul Weller junto a The Style Council.
(ENG) The Hightowers is a vintage soul-funk band that appears in 2015 when some folks from decide to share their passion for music with black roots.
After their appearance at the international festival Cultura Inquieta, the band has released their first EP –Crystal Soul–, recorded at Funkameba Studios by Santi Martín (The Sweet Vandals). The result is a masterpiece of five tunes that bring back some influences such as Curtis Mayfiled or Paul Weller along with The Style Council.
