The Holidays, formally Dollhouse, was formed in a basement in East London in 2019. Frustrated with the lack of female representation in their university’s alternative music scene, the early band – made up by Irna Manguerra-Bridle on Bass/Vocals, Alexandra Ionescu on Guitar, and Sarah Asher on Drums - would spend the time in between university lectures and the local pub, practicing for gigs in and around London.
Having played iconic London venues such as Soho’s Spice of Life, Roadtrip & Workshop, and recently the O2 Academy Islington - the band has only been gaining momentum with each gig played.
Following the global pandemic, The Holidays returned with an extended line-up, with guitarist and pedal virtuoso Brendon Warwick rounding out the band with even more riff-laden grooves. Each member of the band brings their own unique influences with classic rock, blues, jazz and pop forming the foundation of which their setlists are composed.
