The Host emerged in April 2004 with the aim of exploring a unique musicality within the realms of Black and Death Metal, crafting a powerful fusion of aggression, melody, heaviness, and dark atmospheres. The band's journey includes the release of three demos and an EP. In 2010, an involuntary hiatus interrupted their path, but in 2022, they returned with renewed focus, determined to continue where they left off.
Now, The Host is finalizing its upcoming album, which will bring together new compositions and previously dormant tracks from before the 2010 hiatus, finally set to be released. The band's artistic expression embraces darkness and contemplates chaos, reflecting on the fleeting nature of human existence and its inevitable destruction.
