The Hot at Nights are a contemporary jazz band whose material ranges from rollicking grooves to wailing sessions with a sound shaped by elements of R&B, rock, and electronic music. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, the band features engineer and producer Chris Boerner on eight-string guitar, Matt Douglas on woodwinds, and Nick Baglio on drums and keyboards. (2013), and the more studied and electronics-heavy Three Kids (2017), which featured a guest appearance from guitarist Charlie Hunter.
