The Hot Takes are a three-piece prog punk rock band from London, United Kingdom. Featuring three antipodean ex-pats, the band pride themselves on a kinetic live show, with huge catchy hooks, thunderous riffs and a party vibe.
The pandemic saw the band on the back foot after forming, however not letting coronavirus stop them, they embarked on a remote recording project, enlisting the help of New York-based producer Marc McCluskey (Weezer, LetLive, Motion City Soundtrack) to work on music that literally crossed oceans.
Now, with the band back on London stages, audiences get to experience The Hot Takes in all their frenetic glory. Their first single TREMORS is a meditation on split personality and mental health, merging punk rock sensibilities with tasty prog elements and a huge chorus. Keep your eyes and ears out - there's plenty more of The Hot Takes to come.
Koby - guitars/vocals
Ardie - drums/vocals
Leon - bass
