The Hot Wires are Louisville, Kentucky based punk/rock vets that have a sound pulling together some of the best elements of garage punk, psych-rock, surf and rock n roll.
'Dark Energy' is their latest release on Gubbey Records. It delivers fuzzed-out guitar, high energy grooves, and a pulsating rhythmic core. It’s a futuristic soundtrack to a space traveler exploring the unknown galactic horizon. Don’t be mistaken though. This is not ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. Think more like a tightly wound coil ready to explode from the pressure.
