A black metal side project of Thralldom's Killusion (aka Ryan Lipynsky), the Howling Wind released their first dense slab of experimental black metal in 2007. Entitled Pestilence & Peril, the work featured Killusion on guitars, bass, and vocals, with Parasitus taking on percussion duties. Released on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Profound+Lore%22">Profound Lore</a>, the record was well received in the extreme metal press.
