The year is 2007, “Shoot Charlie” frontman Johan Köhnke returns home after a miserable tour of central Europe. After calling it quits with his old band he seeks to drown his sorrows at the local wateringhole but ends up forming a new indie outfit instead. The new band speeds through life, playing shows, making videos and recording a full length album at the legendary “Svenska Grammofon Studion”. But with the death of guitar-pop and the growth of modern EDM the band soon parted ways, leaving the album buried on a harddrive until 2021. That’s when Indieshake owner Håkan stumbled upon the only single ever released by the band playing through the speakers at an afterparty, and the rest is history to be written. The Hurry & The No Knows consists of five indie veterans, known for projects such as “Silveräpplen, The Hector, Shoot Charlie, Esther, Vienna Heat and The Frankie Lee’s”.
