The music of The Idle Factory in an intricate sound, falling somewhere between Alt-Rock and Folk. With influences comprised of bands such as Manchester Orchestra, The Dear Hunter, The Oh Hellos, Gregory Alan Isokov, and Punch Brothers. TIF strives to make something new, refreshing, exciting, and inspiring. But most of all, they strive for honesty.
With the release of Burning Eden, TIF’s brand new album, honesty was indeed the guiding thought. This album is the cry of a heavy heart. The shame of regretful decisions. The hope of becoming something better.
“These songs are full of the most emotions”
“I feel like I need to release a heavy sigh after every song.”
“After listening to daybreak I literally ascended through the ceiling into my upstairs neighbors’ apartment”
