Holding BA in Recording Arts TIR has put in his 10,000 hours to become an accomplished beat maker, MC, and recording engineer / producer. Honing his live show over decades through his solo work and as a member in numerous ensembles both as an MC and a vinyl DJ he has shared the stage with: KRS-One, Talib Kweli, Abstract Rude, Kung Fu Vampire, Vocab Slick, Michael Marshall and many others. He can both draw tears and get crowds to shout out lyrics.

TIR’s message of perseverance permeates every piece in his catalog and his newest body of work: “Home” offers true hip-hop heads a thought-provoking detour from mainstream misogyny, sex, and substance abuse.
