With poetic and sometimes cryptic lyrics, gritty guitars, beautiful melodies and emotive vocals, the Toronto-based young band, The Jacks Of All Trades: Seamus Donohue (songwriter, lead and back vocals, guitar, bass, drums), Diego Salazar (songwriter, lead and back vocals, guitar, bass, drums), Leonard Hesita (guitar, bass, trumpet, back vocals), and Matthew Myers (drums/percussion and back vocals) has recently broken into the music scene with their fresh and nostalgia-evoking sound.
They got together from a mutual love of great music - huge fans of classic British rock as well as Canadian Greats The Guess Who and The Tragically Hip and influenced by a little country and whole lot of rock & roll. They just completed recording their debut album with several original songs now being released, starting with 2 debut singles: Autumn Hazy and New Old Song.
The members of the band can all play all the instruments in their repertoire. They would switch instruments from song to song, depending on the composition. Their music exudes bridled exuberance, order in chaos, fervor in their craft.
