I actually quit for a number of years but decided to start recording again (2024) and to produce my music myself - so my new track "Jaded Love" has everything performed, written , produced and mixed by myself. The new sound is a more realised rock sound, not as pop orientated , but still with the quirky riffs/licks to keep the song's hooks in you!

The Jackson Odyssey is a pop/alternative rock artist from the UK. He picked up the guitar about ten years ago and soon afterwards starting writing songs. His album "And so I Waited….. "shows off some of the songs he's written.The album is primarily rock but there are a wide variety of sub genres under that umbrella.
The album starts with “Over Easy (She’s Always)” which is a single worthy song. The chorus in particular is memorable. The song has a good mixture of styles but may leave you with slight nostalgic feel of the ’80s.
The next track “Summer Love” is quintessential rock from the ’90s. Bands like Nirvana and Mudhoney came to mind. “What A Fake” is one of the more dynamic songs. The verse is fuzzy and subtle but the chorus explodes.
“Let Me Give You Something” is one of the highlights. The song has an off kilter quality to it and reminds you of Hendrix and Talking Heads.
"And So I Waited " the album covers a lot of ground and showcases a diverse talent. Take a listen.
