The Jason Jones Band

The Jason Jones Band, an electrifying Americana/Rock ensemble from Upstate South Carolina, fuses mountain soul with rock’s raw edge. Formed in 2019 in Virginia, the band is driven by the versatile Jason Jones—lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist, harmonica player, and primary songwriter.

After relocating to South Carolina, the band gained new life with bassist/backing vocalist Dina Zaphiris and drummer Todd Labrie, a married duo whose onstage chemistry electrifies their sound. Their partnership ignited when Jason, dropping off an amp, jammed with Todd, rekindling his drumming fire.

Dina, beyond music, is an animal trainer who’s worked with Al Pacino and Nicholas Cage, starred on Animal Planet’s “PetFinder,” and pioneered cancer-detection dog training. Todd, owner of Barton Drums—played by renowned drummers—brings a rich pulse from his New York and LA music roots.

The band evolved as Jason recorded with southern rocker Tim Lawter (Marshall Tucker Band) and producer Daniel Cossu (Cinetrax). Their sound—blending Americana, Folk, and Rock—features Jason’s soulful, Springsteen-like vocals atop a vibrant rhythm section, enriched by keys and harmonica.

From the Virginia mountains to South Carolina hills, their music tells raw stories of love, struggle, and triumph. The Jason Jones Band crafts anthems of the human spirit, captivating audiences with every gritty, heartfelt show.
