The Joke (Eitan Ventura, Ollie Benedetti, Karen Girsang, Japhy Theobald) was a Waltham-based college band heavily inspired by early alternative rock bands including Pixies, Blur, and The Strokes. Known for their basement shows, The Joke was arguably the most influential band of the semester. But short lived. Their beloved Eitan Ventura, guitarist and writer of Aphrodisiac, has sadly graduated. Stay tuned for more content by the rebranded hit college band, The Jok.
