<a href="spotify:artist:6MVmUKnR4lXXrhU0jtUsZ4" data-name="The Ken Scotts">The Ken Scotts</a> is a Nor-Cal band originally formed by guitarist/vocalist Jude Reyes, keyboardist Miles Rankins, and bassist Branden Smith after a jam session at a Super Bowl party where they found a good musical chemistry. They solidified their first lineup with the addition of mutual former bandmates and friends: drummer Xander Faris-Higa, guitarist Christian Bush, and saxophonist Michael Fauchard.

They draw inspiration from experimental bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:6XYvaoDGE0VmRt83Jss9Sn" data-name="King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard">King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3zmfs9cQwzJl575W1ZYXeT" data-name="Men I Trust">Men I Trust</a> and have plans to build a discography that explores several genres.
