The Kinky Velvets are a multi-genre band from San Diego, CA. The three members have created a unique sound which is inspired from genres such as alternative, rock, jazz, blues, etc. Some artists that have had individual influences on them are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Soda Stereo, Cage The Elephant, The Beatles, and more.
Formed in late 2019, Guitarist Marx King, Drummer Rebecca Sykes, and Vocalist/Bassist Zacch Vaughn Williams hit the studio to record their debut EP, "Misery of the Mistreated".
