The Koko

KOKO is an Indo- Canadian artist from Brampton, Ontario. She is an aspiring young artist originally from a city named Faridkot in Punjab. Her style of music is unique with lots of influence from rural Punjab along with sweet Bollywood style vocal tone that is wrapped in western music. She believes that Music is a life itself and she wants to touch millions of hearts through her music. Follow her for upcoming songs.

I realized my purpose as a singer from an early age, practicing my favourite melodies that I heard purely for Joy.
As I sang, family and friends would resonate with my music allowing me to feel joy not only through performing but connecting to others through the avenue of music. Their emotions made me feel more confident and added to my strength during the struggle.
From Singing at local school events to winning and competing at the 2016 “All India University Singing Competition”. I grew up as a singer and made it my only career choice.
What helped me to find my purpose in music was being able to transmit my emotions in ways that words and actions could not.

I want to express myself authentically
through my music and release music that has no expiry. Music to me is a healing potion, and an explosive expression of humanity. It is my passion my prayer, my strength, my friend and during this journey of life I want to provide the same to my people/my audience.
