The Kubrix

The Kubrix is the name of a young Danish Band, part of a new generation of musicians. “New Generation” is also the name of their first single, which seeks to make you feel empowered and take part in a eager but desperate rebellion, that makes you scream out in a call for unity in humanity:


“We don't have the time - we can’t go slow.
I can’t be no-one else than me, and I know it's a new generation.”


In this indie pop song the 4 young women of the group each have their own unique vocals, while when they are harmonizing together, their voices melt into stimulating harmonies in a mix of both melancholy and serotonin-high hopefulness. Thus, their sound will resonate with fans of both Lykke Li, MØ and Girl in Red.


The Kubrix first met when they participated in the Danish X-Factor season 2021. The group took Denmark by storm, and their videos went straight to the first place of the “Trending”-list on Youtube, also on the X-factor Global Youtube for Best Performance. Ever since this they have been working hard, searching for their own sound and writing their own music, and now they are working towards being a self-made, strong independent entity in the world of music.
