The Kumbhaka Experience is a musical collective born from Kumbhaka, a 10-day yoga and music immersion in the world's most lush corners, where yoga and music meet to guide us in the art of expression. The Kumbhaka Experience is a musical collective that merges world music, folk and devotional music to celebrate and elevate the songs, melodies and prayers we learn and perform during our programs and immersions.
The collective's first song, "Kumbhaka Mantra," is a beautiful tune composed in-house by Miguel Hiroshi and Moncaya, which speaks to the silence from which all sounds are born. During Kumbhaka's last immersion in February at Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, the team took its 30 participants into the studio to record the Kumbhaka Mantra.
