This 8 piece funk band from Louisiana was discovered by Cameo frontman Larry Blackmon, who produced their first and only album, Now Appearing, released in 1982. The album features the entire Cameo cast but failed due to weak promotion.

LA. Connection can also be heard playing on the 1982 Cameo album "Alligator Woman".

The band's founder, Roger Harris, also headed another one of Blackmon's production efforts, Mantra.
