The Lawson Brothers are a bluegrass-folk duo made up of Maclain and Reid Lawson, two brothers carrying on a family tradition of making music. Raised on the sound of front-porch picking and harmony singing, the pair blend acoustic instrumentation with honest, storytelling-driven songwriting. The Lawson Brothers come from a long line of music-making family. The highlight of most get-togethers on mom's side of the family were the old 60s-70s folk, bluegrass, and country tunes, with the whole family gathered around hum along.
