The Leftovers

The Leftovers was formed in 1990 in Pasila, Helsinki, when the band called Cencored, which has been operating for a couple of years, changed their name. Hardcore-punk-trash-metal remained the direction of the band, but at the same time the band was already influenced by the growing grunge phenomenon of the 90’s.
In the early 90's, the band performed at Helsinki venues and made two five-song demos in the studio, which were released as a c-cassette. In 1995, the band went on a "short" break that lasted until 2014. At the time, the band became active again and made an "7 to Pasila" album of their previously unreleased songs from the 90's. Which was also released as a vinyl LP in 2016. This was followed by the first new song since the 90's "Neighbourhood of '88" which was released as a single in 2018.
Since then, the band has written new music for the upcoming album and re-arranged two of their older 90s songs, which will be released as an EP “Control” in the fall of 2020.
In 2021 the band will move to the studio to record their next album which will be completely new music from the band.
