The Lovematches is a warm duo from freezy Finland. Sanna Björkman and Pasi Rytkönen found each other 2017. Playing turned into love turned into playing. Sanna sings, plays accordion, spoons, kazoo and percussions, Pasi sings and plays guitar and foot percussions.
Our first album "Rescue Songs" was released via Emsalö Music in 2021.
The Lovematches' music could be categorized to Americana. Acoustic instruments and tender harmonies are the things close to our hearts. The songs we play are carefully selected covers and songs made specially for us. The Danish have the term "hygge" to create a warm atmosphere and enjoy the good things in life with good people. That's exactly what we do with our music. Roots'n'Hygge, that's us.
