The Lucky Charms

The Lucky Charms is a project leaded by Ismael Diaz Paul, a musician from Cadiz, Spain, who starts his career as a busker in Ireland, and trying his luck in Spain, Germany and United Kingdom.

The band was originally created in Granada, Spain, with his brother and other local musicians, recording their debut album Concert for Cats & Dogs (2017) in FJR Studios, with Javi PPM, and playing in different venues and festivals.

After spending four years in London, playing in pubs and venues, Ismael is now based in Liverpool, leading the solo project and recording new singles and covers with the producer Jon Withnall.

Mostly influenced from folk, rock, and 90’s and 2000’s pop music, with influences that goes from The Pogues, The Clash and David Bowie to Glen Hansard, The Divine Comedy, The Strokes or The Libertines. Mixing arrangements from folk music as banjo and mandolin, with more underground instruments as melodica or stylophone.

The lyrics goes from pop culture and cinema to sea shanties, creating a perfect mix to be listened while enjoying a pint smashing the tables of your favorite pub.
