The Lyrics is a pop punk band from the countryside around Linköping, Sweden. The band consists of Daniel Caesar, Björn Åhlin and Marcus Tapper—three best friends who grew up playing music together and became a staple of the local scene in the 2000s with their band Blunk.
After years apart, they’ve reunited as The Lyrics, bringing the same chemistry and energy that shaped them early on. Influenced by bands like Green Day, Sum 41 and Weezer, their sound blends old school punkrock with a modern pop twist.
