THE ESSENCE OF ROCK MUSIC IS BEING REBELLIOUS AND WILLING TO TAKE RISKS!
And that exactly what THE MACHINE KNOWS stands for. This newly started Danish power-trio is determined to bring Danish rock back in the game by saying all that is wrong and doing all that is right. THE MACHINE KNOWS is the punch in the face that you want and need.
With a songwriting that’s in the vein of Nirvana by being simple, raw and honest, but musically delivered with the mo- dern train of thought that is the Postmodern hit-machine Queens of the Stone Age, THE MACHINE KNOWS writes bold rock music that is the sculpted by years of hard earned experience from the merciless road and crazy music biz.
In other words, the material is instantaneously addictive to the ears. It’s complemented by small clever finesses in the arrangements, blistering guitars, sing-along choruses and a tough, heavy bottom end. Live, the stage gets lit as only a true power trio are able to do it - like a punch in the face!
Fronting the trio is Kristoffer Veirum (vox & guitar). He’s the former lead guitarist of Danish rock band Dance With Dirt who shot to national acclaim in 2012 and later on the prog-rock band Still The Man.
The rhythm section consists of Tobias Weltzer (drums) and Antonio Roxy (bass) from the goth/dark wave-band Frem- mand. Together they have toured both the US and Germany alongside Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club.
