The Mandela Effect are an indie / folk / rock band based in North Dublin.
Formed in 2023 when Swords locals Dean Mulligan and Matt Murphy joined up with Rob Keogh and Jeff Bent to create original melodic and upbeat music.
With broad influences ranging from Dylan to Lizzy, and everything in between, each member brings their own twist to add layers and life to Mulligan’s songs.
Their first EP ‘10 am Tales’ was recorded at Camelot Studios and will be launched in late 2024. With five original songs ‘10 am Tales’ observes everyday life while striking an optimistic tone.
The band have many new songs in the works and plan to record again in the near future. In the meantime, the band will begin gigging to promote the EP.
