The Manhattan Project is a bombcore band based out of SLC Utah. The group was formed by lead singer <a href="spotify:artist:157WT1uJVofQhVKDLmddph" data-name="Jaxon Hinds">Jaxon Hinds</a> and Bassist Noah Swanson in 2021. Not too long after forming, guitarists Alex Navarro, Deryck Shuler, and drummer Carson Andrews would join the band, concluding the five-man lineup. After a good two years of high school gigs, the band quickly made their way into the local SLC underground scene. Hated by many, and loved by more, Manhattan continues to push the envelope and develop their sound regardless of the status quo.
With heavy influences stemming from artists such as <a href="spotify:album:4LaRYkT4oy47wEuQgkLBul" data-name="Rage Against The Machine">Rage Against The Machine</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2ye2Wgw4gimLv2eAKyk1NB" data-name="Metallica">Metallica</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2yEwvVSSSUkcLeSTNyHKh8" data-name="TOOL">TOOL</a>, and even <a href="spotify:artist:2pAWfrd7WFF3XhVt9GooDL" data-name="MF DOOM">MF DOOM</a> , TMP have crafted a sound uniquely their own. A fusion between early hip hop, thrash metal, and hardcore punk.
No matter what they decide on playing, The Manhattan Project is all about having a damn good time.
