Hello, it's nice to meet you, we're The Maximum Chill!
We are a bunch of freaks and outcasts from Montreal, Quebec and we play rock music. Some people would say it's "alternative" to a degree. In fact, it's SO alternative that it's even composed out in little tiny dots that the musicians read and play for you.
We cater to those who wish to hear and be part of something new and different from what is shoved directly down your ear-holes by commercial radio and streaming services. We like to get loose. We like to have fun. We like to get "far out." We like to make weird noises and silly faces.
We've been going strong since the summer of 2017 - subjecting many average folks like yourself to our unique brand of music and converting them into freaks like us! If you really must know who we are, the lineup currently consists of Brandon Vasko, the composer for the band on guitar and vocals, Everest Johnson on bass, Noah Century on electric clarinet, Matt Souaid on baritone saxophone, Alex Gagnon on percussion, and Luke Maloney on drums!
Our music is inspired by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Ween, DEVO, Dvorak, Brian Eno, Moondog, Captain Beefheart, Primus, Stravinsky, etc. You know, the "classics."
