INDIE - PUNK - ROCK

"Punk Rock's Not Dead". This is the wholehearted mantra of the The Maysides. The band's unique but familiar feel brings with it a tight and punchy angst, reigniting the elements of an early 2000's nostalgic rock anthem. Their music represents multiple flavours of songs, including high energy party pop punk and emotional power ballads that are relatable to audiences of all ages.

The Maysides are four-time NMA winners including their awards in 2020 - “Music Video of the Year” and “Punk Artist of the Year” for their single ‘Any Girl’ presented by Cone McCaslin of Sum 41. They have had the pleasure of providing direct tour support for some of their childhood idols including: Canadian female rocker Bif Naked, epic punk band Gob, the legendary Teenage Head, The Lazy’s, The Flatliners and Ill Scarlet. They have also provided support for upbeat party acts such as Andrew W.K. and Steel Panther to name a few.

The group receives regular radio play on independent, mainstream and college radio stations and has had numerous television appearances and performances on CHCH Morning Live and Cogeco’s YourTV. The band is frequently featured on Spotify curated playlists.

Matt Harris is the founder, singer, songwriter, guitarist and main curator of content for The Maysides. Kenny Holt, G.I. Holm and Mike Lamb complete the ensemble on guitar, bass and percussion. Together, in studio and onstage, the group brings audiences an exciting and bold entertainment experience.
