Independently, The MDz has gained millions of views on YouTube and won 1st place in music competitions. The MDz made an impact touring at festivals and showcases but also as an opening act for a handful of hiphop legends like Krayzie Bone (of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony), X-Raided (of Strange Music), Kurupt & Daz Dillinger (of Tha Dogg Pound) and many more. His captivating stage presents, high energy, and horror themed theatrics mixed with performing his hit songs like Lost in Los Angeles, City Lightz, Dracula, Machiavelli The Prince, and Johnny Cage (which features the reggae music icon Rudolph Francis), solidified him as a must-see performer. In 2025, The MDz released a song called Brothers Of Destruction featuring Twisted Insane who is considered one of the top 10 fastest rappers in the world.

Currently based in Los Angeles, The MDz lived in 11 different cities while growing up in Southern California. In his early teens, he started as a producer/engineer for local artists and soon after that, he started recording his own songs. Over the years, The MDz has helped put out 15 mixtapes/album and collaborated with over 100 underground artists. Now, with 4 solo albums under his belt and singles with millions of views on YouTube, The MDz continues to push forward with his ambition to live forever through music.
