Formed and led by Matt Regan, The Midges are confidently carving out their musical identity since forming in 2023. Their debut album, ‘Not Knowing The Words’, showcased their minimalist, direct songwriting style. Now, with their second album, ‘On One’, they unleash a more expansive, emotional, and intense sound to explore the multiple meanings of losing oneself.
The Midges capture the bittersweet, and sometimes spiritual, connection to nature and community. This fervent dedication led to their signing with Red Deer Club Recordings in 2025.
